Hello Friends,
At the outset, I must take this opportunity to thank all those who helped us during our previous visit to DYANADA SHIKSHAN MANDAL which enabled us to attain what we had promised ourselves. Nothing would have been possible without the contribution of a lot of you.
• Water supply -children's do not get basic facilities, even like clean drinking water. We learnt that the water they have from drinking is from a river which is not even filtered.
• Water storage tank – The tank used to store water itself was in a bad shape, such that it was not cleaned for many years.
• The library – It was really sad to see that there were a few books kept on a desk of a room, that was called a library. Something like our study table having around 10 – 12 books.
• The classrooms – None of them had good benches, which means children had poor sitting arrangements.
• The kitchen - The food was traditionally cooked using wood from the forest (which was still acceptable)
We have decided on moving further once again with another activity of donating a few more things to the school. Below is the list.
1. Desktop Computers with Educational softwares with 32"screen .
2. Plastic water glasses
3. Educational, informative & entrainment books of local language
4. Water filter plant ( sponsorship base)
We estimate the total cost to be around Rs. 40,000/- and are starting with the round of donations as well. You may if you wish to, purchase these items and hand them over to us.
